Process

Amman Steel established the leadership by adopting the latest Belgium based Tempcore Thermo Mechanically Treated Process Technology. TMT process can be described in three successive stages. The first stage is when the hot rolled bar is rapidly quenched by special water Spraying System. Consequent of this initial stage is the second stage where in Temperature Gradient is formed that is the temperature of the surface is lesser than that of the core. Hence heat from the Core automatically gets transferred to the surface leading to formation of Tempered Martensite which is strong and tough. At the final stage there is atmospheric cooling where in the heat transforms into soft and ductile inner core called Ferrite Pearlite and strong outer layer called Martensite. Amman-TRY / TMT is a perfect blend of these strength and ductility.
